COVID-19 has had a major impact on Indias economy, society, politics, and foreign policy. As of now, India is nearing 14 million reported infections, more than 170,000 people have lost their lives, and it is the second-worst affected country in the world. India fumbled on more than one occasion while responding to the pandemic. Nevertheless, for a developing country with a poor health infrastructure, Indias response has not been entirely unsatisfactory, and it may have learned crucial lessons from the epidemic. This paper seeks to examine and analyse Indias response to the pandemic.
